SALES CONSULTANT

Lindsay Automotive is one of the oldest Honda dealers in Central Ohio, dating back to 1973.
We are a service oriented organization that prides itself on establishing life-long relationships with our customers. We consider our employees to be one of its most valuable resources. A Used Car Sales Consultant manages the end-to-end purchase experience for pre-owned vehicles.

Responsibilities Include:
• Use a needs-discovery approach to match customers with vehicles that fit their lifestyle and budget.
• Present specialized "Used Vehicle Service Contracts" (VSCs) and GAP insurance early
in the process to address the mechanical risks of older inventory. (applicable to us?)
• Perform initial physical appraisals of customer trade-ins, identifying key wear-and- tear items that affect wholesale/retail value.
• Maintain a customer profile for personalized outreach when a client is likely ready for an upgrade or service.

Qualifications:
• The ability to explain market-based pricing using live data.
• High school diploma required; a background in marketing or psychology is a strong asset.
• Mandatory clean driving record for conducting test drives and moving inventory.

SALES CONSULTANT

We consider our employees to be one of its most valuable resources. As a Sales Consultant, you are the face of our dealership. Your mission isn't just to sell cars, it’s to guide customers through one of the most significant purchases of their lives. You’ll combine deep product knowledge with genuine relationship-building to help clients find the perfect vehicle for their lifestyle and budget.

Responsibilities Include:
• Greet customers on the lot or in the showroom with enthusiasm; handle internet inquiries and phone leads promptly.
• Conduct "needs-based" discovery to recommend the right vehicle; lead professional test drives that highlight safety and tech features.
• Maintain a subject matter expert status on our current lineup, including EVs, hybrids, and trim levels.
• Work closely with our Finance & Insurance (F&I) team to ensure a seamless transition from the sales floor to the final paperwork.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals and long-term loyalty.

Qualifications:
• A resilient, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude.
• Ability to explain complex features in a way that’s easy to understand.
• Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads and tasks.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (non-negotiable).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
• Prior sales experience is a plus, but we are willing to on- board and train the right candidate.

ACURA SERVICE
SERVICE ADVISOR

Lindsay Automotive is one of the oldest Honda dealers in Central Ohio, dating back to 1973.
Lindsay Acura has been open since 1989. We are a service oriented organization that prides itself on establishing life-long relationships with our customers. We consider our employees to be one of its most valuable resources. A Service Advisor is arguably the most challenging—and rewarding—role in the dealership. You are the bridge between the customer’s concerns and the technician’s diagnosis. This role requires a unique blend of customer service excellence, project management, and sales savvy while be able to handle the pace and maintaining a high level of empathy. 

Responsibilities Include:
• Greet customers on the service drive, perform a preliminary vehicle walk-around, and document concerns with precision.
• Act as the bridge between the shop and the customer. Translate "tech-speak" into clear, benefit-oriented language the customer can understand.
• Review Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) results with customers, prioritizing safety-critical repairs while advising on preventative maintenance for long-term vehicle health.
• Coordinate with the Shop Foreman and Parts  Department to provide accurate estimates on cost and completion time.
• Take personal ownership of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) by providing proactive updates via text, phone, or email.
• Ensure all Repair Orders (ROs) are properly documented for warranty compliance and internal accounting.
• Strong multi-tasking skills with a calm, professional demeanor.
• Problem solve and find the right solution(s) for the customer.
• Must be able to understand basic automotive systems (suspension, braking, internal combustion vs. EV drivetrains).

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail or service environment (automotive experience preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate).
• Strong computer skills
• A resilient, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (non-negotiable).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
• Prior sales experience is a plus, but we are willing to on- board and train the right candidate.
