BODY SHOP COORDINATOR
Essential Job Duties:

If you are a person that likes a fast paced career, this is a job for you! Lindsay Buick GMC Truck is currently looking for an experienced Body Shop Coordinator. You will be the first point of contact , so great customer service is a must! Duties would include but not limited to:

Managing phones, and schedule appointments

Examines damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.

Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.

Reviews repair cost estimates with body shop manager or foreman.

Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers,
-
Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
-
Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
-
Estimates cost of repainting, converting to special purposes or customizing undamaged vehicles.

Other tasks as assigned.

BUICK GMC Service
BODY SHOP PAINTER
Essential Job Duties:
-
Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely.
-
Removes rust from metal, and grease and dirt from the work surface.
-
Masks and protects parts that are not to be painted or coated.
-
Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain a smooth surface.
-
Mixes paint according to specifications.
-
Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color.
-
Paints surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate.
-
Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags and unpainted areas.
-
Heats and sprays wax onto products after they are tested.
-
Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair.
-
Keeps the work area clean.
-
Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
-
Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
-
Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
-
Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.

BUICK GMC Service
BODY SHOP TECHNICIAN
Essential Job Duties:

Thoroughly examine the vehicle damages
-
Return the vehicle back to factory specifications
-
Remove vehicle trim to gain access to vehicle body
-
Can properly fill depressions with body filler and insure a quality repair
-
Able to remove damaged parts using power tools and cutting torch
-
Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment
-
Straighten bent automobile frames using frame wrack
-
File, grind and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
-
Aim headlights
-
Replace bolts on panels and align properly
-
Make cosmetic repairs
-
Perform other duties as assigned by management
-
Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications
-
Able to develop appropriate and efficient methods for each job

Lindsay Auto FINANCE
FINANCE DIRECTOR

Directs staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs.

Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs.
-
Analyzes sales history to formulate new policies designed to promote sales.
-
Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs and volume potential and develops sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the finance department.
-
Knowledgeable in state regulations regarding finance and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
-
Train and supervise F&I staff of any changes in regulations and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
-
Review the structure of deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines.
-
Adheres to a standard of professional ethics and is respectful to staff and customers.
-
Never intentionally misrepresents a deal.
-
Assure all deals are books out accurately. Never misrepresents equipment.
-
Performs credit interview, prepares credit application when needed.
-
Review deals that are declined and work with Sales Department to “put dead deals together”.
-
Maintains confidentiality of customer information.
-
Generate new lenders and maintain good lender relations.
-
Maintains a lender guide of programs currently used and obtains a working knowledge of them.
-
Evaluates new lender programs.
-
Maintains current inventory log and makes recommendations to management.
-
Review department DOC daily and review with staff areas of improvement.
-
Trains administrative personnel on assembling funding packages.
-
Designs and places advertising for special finance.
-
Analyzes credit reports, able to recognize a conventional deal and turns over accordingly.
-
Interacts with appropriate departments.
-
Serves as liaison between the finance department and other departments.
-
Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
-
Recommends or approves new expenditures and appropriations.
-
Maintains a professional appearance.
-
Schedule and attend sales meetings with the Finance Department and Sales Department.
-
Other tasks as assigned.
